Student life is very varied. The weekly timetable of a fulltime degree student is obviously different to that of a part time student and a student that lives in Rugby will be different to someone who commutes into Trinity, as so there is variation from student to student. All TST track and degree students however are required as part of their programme to take part in ministry outreach and so there is a practical element to the weekly timetable.
Throughout the week there are regular times of student fellowship organised by Trinity and students tend to extend that out with the timetable and spend a significant amount of time together in the evenings and at weekends.
All students are required to be committed to a local church during their studies and as most churches have midweek meetings, students are encouraged to attend these weekly events in addition to the Sunday morning service. As many of the students attend New Life Church which shares the building with Trinity, strong relationships are forged and the church extends warm hospitality to all the students.
Trinity has a student council which is made up from representatives from each year group and some staff members. The council holds an important role in supporting and upholding the quality of School life. The Council gives opportunity for students to raise issues from across the student body, to work on solutions to any problems and to plan social and other events. Meetings are structured and recorded so that decisions and other information can be fed back to the students and the school leadership.
The elected students may also be asked to take a lead role in other College staff/student meetings from time to time, for example, representing students at Open Days or to organise setting up for school meetings in the auditorium and elsewhere. The period of office for each post will be one and a half terms.
