A number of students commute in to Trinity School of Theology as they do not live in Rugby. The School is well located for commuters as it is 10 minutes walk from the train station and also is situated near both the M1 and the M6 motorways. Commuting students attend lectures on Mondays and Tuesdays and spend the rest of the week in their home town unless lectures have been rescheduled. The majority of our commuting students tend to be mature students and they bring a different dimension to the student group which is valued by the younger students.
Despite the fact that the commuting students are only in Rugby for part of the week, here at Trinity we feel that all commuting students are an integral part of the student body and therefore endeavor to include them on extra-curricular activities. All students, whether residential in Rugby or elsewhere, are included on the student council and invited to any staff/student social activities, and strong relationships exist across the student body.
