Library

Trinity houses an extensive library of over 10,000 books, journals and audio visual items. It has been assembled over many years and houses a variety of material on numerous topics. All the main texts that students require for their assignments are contained in the library.

All the books are catalogued on an electronic system, which all staff and students have access to. The library system is managed by our trained librarian who assists staff and students with locating material where needed and ensures that the library system is kept up to date.

The purpose of the library is:

  • To support teaching, learning and research in the college
  • To build and preserve a library collection which reflects breadth and depth in terms of subject area and theological perspective
  • To provide access to a specialised resource base to those outside the college

Those in Theological education may, by special request, use the library facility after discussion with the librarian. If you are interested in this, please contact the librarian, .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)

Other Resources

At Trinity we have some material that has been used in the past for distance learning purposes. Although we are not currently running a distance learning programme, the material can still be bought from the School for any individuals interested in undertaking some self-directed study. The modules include a reader contacting the essential texts, the lecture notes and an audio CD Rom.

If you are interested in buying the material, please contact the librarian, .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) for more information.
