Background
As a young man Tony earned a first class honours degree in Fine Art. Shortly thereafter he became a Christian, and ever since has been seeking to bring together Christianity and the arts. Tony is lead elder of Mid-Somerset Community Church in Glastonbury, UK, and recently spearheaded the first annual Grace festival in the town. Grace is a Christian-themed, fringe arts festival incorporating music, drama, painting and other art forms.

Tony is an established artist in his own right, and often helps to run the Art Tent at the Soul Survivor youth festivals held each year at Shepton Mallett. As well as playing a significant role in the Christianity and the Arts elective, Tony teaches the prayer aspect of the 'Discipleship and Mission' module. This class, among other things, examines the prayer life of founder Rees Howells. Tony is married with one son and two daughters.
