Personal Information
Ian became a Christian in 1974 and was dramatically baptised in the Holy Spirit soon afterwards. After studying history in the USA, he read law at St John's College, Cambridge and then completed his legal studies in London to become a barrister in 1980. Not long afterwards, he went to Bible College to prepare for 'full-time' Christian ministry. It was while he was there that he met and married his wife Carole. Ian teaches regularly on various aspects of pastoral ministry and works closely with the Dean of Studies on the development of the School curriculum. Along with his wife, he has pastored churches in South Wales and West Yorkshire, and currently leads New Life Church, Cambridge. Through their clear prophetic and teaching ministry, they are involved in the oversight of the churches that are part of Lifelink International, as well as ministering to the wider church. Their four children (two now married) are aged between 18 and 27.
Hobbies and interests
In what little spare time Ian can snatch, he enjoys walking, reading, the theatre, cooking and fine dining!
