Current role
Director of Training at Trinity School of Theology and Global Horizons Trust. This involves: overseeing the curriculum and Faculty at Trinity School of Theology (TST), and maintaining and liaising with our university partners on all curriculum development. In terms of overseas development, Ewen liaises, on behalf of the Global Horizons board, with TST's partner colleges overseas. He also works with the Global Horizon's Board on the strategic development and direction of the College.
Lecturer in a variety of modules: New Testament, Mission, Church History, and gives inputs into Pastoral and Personal Development.
Personal Information
After studying History at Reading University, Ewen worked full time with Campus Crusade for Christ for two years amongst university students. He then trained as a careers adviser in 1988 at Huddersfield University, and worked for 10 years in a Careers Company. He completed the Institute in Personnel and Development qualification in 1994.
Ewen has a passion for overseas mission. He has made several trips to India, where he has been involved in projects to alleviate poverty and promote vocational guidance and helping to develop theology colleges. He has also been involved in similar work in South Africa and China.
Ewen's main desire is to help people develop to their full potential, hence his strong interest in education and training.
Hobbies and interests
Ewen's spare time interests include playing tennis, running, swimming, hill walking, cinema and theatre, listening to a wide range of music from classical to pop (favourite band: Beatles), cooking, reading novels and gardening. Favourite food: chicken jalfreizi or medium rare steak.
